MAIN TOP
1. Place the front (1) with the front sides (2) right sides together and stitch. Press seam allowances towards the center.
2. Place the back (3) with back sides (4) right sides together and stitch. Press seam allowances towards the center.
3. Sew the side seams, placing the pieces right sides inside. Press allowances.
LINING
1. Stitch the front lining (6), (7) and the back lining (8), (9) in the same way as the main top pieces, leaving an unstitched opening in the left side seam.
STRAPS
1. Press the strap piece (5) in half with the wrong side inside and stitch along the longest section. Turn out and press.
2. Sew the straps to the upper edge of the top along the notches.
ASSEMBLING
1. Place the main top with the lining right sides together and stitch along the upper edge.
2. Stitch along the lining at 0.1 cm (1/16’’) from the seam. Press, forming an edging from the main top.
3. Turn the top inside out and stitch the bottom edge of the top with lining.
4. Stitch along the lining at 0.1 cm (1/16’’) from the seam. Press, forming an edging from the main top.
ZIPPER
1. Sew the zipper in the center of the back first to the main top pieces, placing it right sides together.
2. Turn the top inside out and stitch the zipper with lining. Turn out and press.
3. Sew the unstitched opening in the left side seam on the lining.
4. Give the top a final press.
